Silhouette Cameo - Tina Fitch - 75th birthday

This is my latest card made for my dear Mother in-law.
Most of the elements of the card were cut on my Silhouette Cameo machine
The cutting file for the numbers and the main background were bought from
Tina Fitch - Forever Memories   I adore her files for the detail.
I made a standard 8" square card which I have then mounted on an easel base to allow to add the "Mum plate and some embellishment

The numbers have four layers, the base is cut from Burgundy, layer 3 is holographic card,
layer 2 is burgundy again with the front layer cut from Docrafts, Papermania, Capsule collection.
The front stopper plate was made from the same cards with the label and "Mum"
cut on the Cameo.  I cut 4 layers of Mum to make a chipboard.
The flowers and pearls were from my stash.
I also made a box for the card with a file bought from the Silhouette Cameo store.

Silhouette Cameo - Tina Fitch - Mothering Sunday Card

This is another beautiful cutting file from Tina Fitch Forever Memories  and cut on my Silhouette Cameo machine

I made two of these cards (one for Mum & the other for Mum-in-law)
I felt the back needed a base colour behind it so added the purple back on both
This also made it a sturdier card.

On one I added the backing colour to the front gates too
Although I liked both cards I prefer the one with the front gates left as a lattice.

I added a bunch of spring coloured mulberry flowers tied with a contrasting ribbon
to the inside of both cards and also some flat back pearls to enhance the pattern.
The slightly larger pearls show up much better.

I am still playing with my cutting machine really,  I have so much more to learn but love it when I get the settings right and get a good clean crisp cut without the need to "weed" too much

Silhouette Cameo - Box Card - Katie 21st

I just know I am going to be making lots of these.  This was so quick and easy to make with a real WOW impact,  and the best bit is that beyond  making the box base there are no rules!  Cut whatever shape you want and add it until you have the look you want.

The card base is a 5" square base which can be folded flat for storage and posting.
I love holographic card and paper and the way these colours work together.

Silhouette Cameo - Tina Fitch - Swan Wedding Card

I made this stunning card on my Silhouette Cameo machine with a cutting file i bought from Tina Fitch Forever Memories
Tina designs and sells amazing cutting files for several different cutting machines.

My only regret with this card is that I did not take more photographs.

I cut the main card from a very subtle silver metallic card

The swans and couple in the centre were cut from white pearl card.
Once cut I embossed the pieces for the swans before putting the pieces together with foam pads.

The three cards above were cut on my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine,  using a file bought from the Silhouette Cameo Store.  The image was cut out of black card which was then mounted onto different coloured glitter card then mounted onto a card base.

The three cards above were also cut on the Silhouette Cameo cutting machine on black card.  Two were mounted onto Glitter card the other was mounted onto a gold metallic card.

These two cards were also cut on the Silhouette Cameo cutting machine with a file bought from Tina Fitch - Forever Memories who designs beautiful, intricate files for cutting machines

Altered Item - Asti Martini Bottle

Where has the summer gone?

It has been a very busy summer and I have not got around to posting here for a couple of months.  I have still made a few things in between enjoying the sunshine.

A lovely lady who worked with me was retiring and I wanted to make a special, unique gift for her.

The Roses, Cherry Blossoms and Leaves were bought from Hobbycraft
the ribbon was from my stash

I don't normally use a hot glue gun when making cards but for this
project I have as I needed instant stick!

The label was cut out of a beautiful backing paper from the Love Letters digital background papers by The Paper Shelter.

Wee Stamps - Silver Fairy

I made this card a week or so ago and have been dying to share
her with you but couldn't until I had given it to the Birthday Girl
It is an 8" square Easel Card
The beautiful background paper is Perriwinkle by Kanban
which I have layered onto Centura Pearlescent card.

The gorgeous Digital Stamp is Silver Fairy from Wee Stamps
which is coloured with Promarkers , I have sprinkled fairy dust on her wings (Stickles to you and me)

Anyone who has read my previous blogs will know I am having fun learning how to use my Silhouette Cameo Machine.  These labels were my first attempt using the pens and then cutting and layering shapes.

Although the corner looks like metal it is actually card which has been cut on the Silhouette Cameo Machine and then heat embossed using ink and embossing powder.
The gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts
Ribbon, pearls and jewels are from my stash
