The Paper Shelter - Zoe Spring

One stamp, 3 different cards today
I love how different an image can look just using a different colour combination
The digital stamp is Zoe Spring from The Paper Shelter

The first card is a 6" square using Orange and copper brown shades
I have used Promarkers to colour Zoe.  The background paper is from the Dovecraft, Tea Party range.  Ribbon, flowers and gems are from my stash

The second card is also 6" square in blue and pink, again coloured using Promarkers
This time Zoe has been cut out after colouring .
Flowers, ribbon, button and pearls are from my stash

Last but not least is the blue and pink pre coloured stamp received when purchasing from
The Paper Shelter. This card is an 8" square.
I have used an old Fiskars Tulip corner punch.
The ribbon, lace, flowers and pearls are from my stash

Kenny K - Handyman Birthday Card

Isn't it difficult finding inspiration and bits and bobs
to make Male cards (or is it just that I enjoy making girlie cards more?)
We all have special Male friends and relations we don't want to feel left out
so here is my latest effort

I used the Handyman digital stamp from Kenny K
which I coloured with Promarkers
The tape measures, spanner and vellum with springs were in an old
book of papers which had lost its cover.
The "Happy Birthday" I printed on my PC

The inside was decorated to match the front.

All the papers used are digital downloads from Pink Petticoat
I had printed several designs in Sweet Bohemia and contrasted them to build the card.
Toned this with purple seam binding, flowers and pearls

The lettering and badge were cut on my Silhouette Cameo Machine

Tina Birthday Card

This card was definitely stepping out of my comfort zone
If you hadn't already guessed I prefer to work with
Purples, blues and pinks but decided to be a bit different today.

The image is Wee Florist a digital stamp from Wee Stamps which I coloured with my Promarkers  The background paper is Trendy Sprinkles a digital download from Crafty Card Making

The inner of the card is finished off in the same style

Joanne 40th Birthday Card

I really enjoyed making this card
My apologies for the quality of the images

I recently discovered the Pink Petticoat website,  beautiful digital background papers, sentiments and stamps.  These are fantastic value as most of the design you buy the download is for 38 different colours and in positive and negative.
Solid colours are free!
I love the fact that you don't need to have drawers full of paper and can print as you need.
As you can see I have bought several designs, printed them off in the same colour
to create this card.  The image is Suzi with Bunny from Wee Stamps which I have coloured with Promarkers

The numbers and the lettering was cut on my Silhouette Cameo
Flowers, ribbon & charm are from my stash

Captain Locke - decoupage

What a beautiful Bank Holiday Weekend we had
Much too nice to be stuck in the craft room

This card is a bit of a mish-mash.  I have taken the 3D decoupage design
from a Crafts U Print card and layered it onto a backing I designed myself
and personalised with a Happy Birthday tag.
The backing, ribbon, lace, flowers, pearls and charm are from my stash.

The image was pre coloured.  I printed onto photo paper, cut out and layered

Vulcan Stepper Card

Something a little bit different today.
Male cards are so much more difficult!  But I still want to make it personal.

This is my first Stepper card,  with the folding being the hardest part.
The photographs were taken by my husband Steve on our annual visit to Waddington Air Show.
You can see more of his photographs at Valvetec Photography.

The paper, ribbon, flowers and gold trellis are from my stash.
